Big Alcohol Conversation 2022

Closed 16 Sep 2022

Opened 25 Aug 2022

Overview

In 2019, the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership asked people across Greater Manchester to tell them about the role and impacts of alcohol in their communities. More than 80 local voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations, more than 5,000 people, joined in the Big Alcohol Conversation. From this, findings and recommendations were produced.

Now, we want to check that these findings and recommendations are still relevant following the Covid-19 pandemic.

This survey, for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and public sector organisations, will take about 10 minutes to complete. It will ask about your views on the impact of alcohol consumption on communities, whether anything has changed since Covid-19, and specific actions that could be taken to address issues around alcohol.

The findings of this survey will be used to inform a report that will be submitted to the Greater Manchester Drug and Alcohol Transformation Board. The report will support considerations for the further development of a programme of action to prevent alcohol-related harm in Greater Manchester.
