Why your views matter

The final consultation of Greater Manchester’s Plan for Homes, Jobs and the Environment: (the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework Publication Plan 2020) will run from December 1, 2020 to January 26, 2021.

The plan will go to the AGMA Executive Board  on October 30, 2020 and then subsequently to the 10 Greater Manchester Councils for approval, prior to the launch of the formal consultation.

The draft plan and supportinig documents are available here https://www.greatermanchester-ca.gov.uk/gmsf2020

This is the  final consultation before the plan is submitted to the Secretary of State for examination , and it is more technical that previous rounds. The Government requires us to ask people whether our plans, and the evidence on which they are based, meet national planning law requirements – these are called the “tests of soundness”. This is what we will be consulting on and this will be clearly explained in the consultation, which will be available via this website.

If you want to be informed when the consultation is launched, then please register your details below.
