Overview

Greater Manchester and Eastern Cheshire Strategic Clinical Network are currently developing a Palliative and End of Life Care Framework. The Framework will set a number of objectives and outline the outcomes that the people in Greater Manchester can expect to live well during the last year of life with dignity, in the place of their choice, regardless of disease, setting, age and circumstance.

The Framework will contain 12 individual focused commitments and 4 system enabling commitments, which have been developed in collaboration with members of the emerging Greater Manchester Palliative and End of Life Care Board, who have brought a wealth of experience from health and social care commissioning, service provision, and those that have personally experienced the death of a loved one.

We would like to hear your views to help shape the proposed commitments so we can create a Framework that will significantly enhance the quality of care for people in the last year of life and and those closest to them. The survey will take around 20 minutes to complete, and views will be shared with the Greater Manchester Palliative and End of Life Care Board.
