The image (below) highlights the boundary* of the proposed Bolton Town Centre Mayoral Development Corporation edged in red.  *This area includes Bolton Town Centre as bounded by the ring road and two extensions to the south and west of the ring road. The area runs from Topp Way to the north of the Town Centre between its junction with St George's Road and Marsden Road eastwards to the intersection of Kay Street, Topp Way, Turton Street, and St Peter's Way in the north east. The boundary extends from here south to the intersection of Bradford Street and St Peter's Way in the south east. From here, the proposed boundary continues west to the intersection of College Way and Trinity Street in the south west. In addition, the area also includes a small extension south of the ring road, bounded by Manchester Road, Orlando Street, and Thynne Street. From the south west, the boundary extends north west to the intersection of Mayor Street and Spa Road. The proposed boundary then proceeds adjacent to Queen's Park along Spa Road eastwards before proceeding north west through a footpath in Queen's Park, across the River Croal, and eastwards to the intersection of Chorley Street and Bark Street, and further eastwards across Bark Street to join the original start point of the intersection between St George's Road and Marsden Road
