MBacc Award Expression of Interest

About the MBacc Award 

The MBacc Award is being developed by Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and Baker Dearing to recognise the skills, experiences and achievements young people gain through technical education and employer engagement. 

Schools expressing an interest at this stage will have an opportunity to help inform the development and implementation of the Award as it moves towards wider rollout.  

This is our test and learn first year of delivery. In order to effectively evaluate the Award, we will require schools to support proportionate requests for learner-level data sharing with GMCA, subject to appropriate data governance as this will enable delivery, monitoring and evaluation. 

Why your views matter

Submitting this form does not commit your school to participating in the MBacc Award. It simply allows us to understand levels of interest and keep you informed about future development and implementation opportunities.
